Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Saturday 27th June where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

MY BONNY BOY showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. He raced from just off the pace, but found one too good in the form of One Magic. The son of What A Winter is a progressive type and unless one of the first timers are above average, he should take a power of beating.

LANDMAN is an unraced son of The United States from the Justin Snaith stable with Richard Fourie in the saddle. He is related to two-time winner Fibonacci. If not in need of the experience, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other first timers.

TEQUILA TANGO is a son of Real Gone Kid from the Vaughan Marshall stable with Gareth Wright booked to ride. If not too green in running, he may produce a promising showing.

Race 2

AFRICAN MEMOIR is better than his last start against stronger company. He won his penultimate outing over this C&D. The son of Canford Cliffs drops back in class and if putting his best foot forward, he may be the one to beat.

HERITAGE RIDGE has finished third in her last three starts. She finished 1.4 lengths behind the top selection in her penultimate outing. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

BARNEY MCGREW finished 0.4 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may battle to turn the form around. He is having his second run after a rest and should strip much fitter.

Race 3

CORK BAY showed good speed, found another kick and drew off in the closing stages last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He is in a good space and may be hard to peg back.

KELP FOREST took the lead at the 200m mark last time before getting caught late by Fast Train. He finished 3.55 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate effort. He is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

LYRICAL GANGSTER was running on when second over 1000m on this course last time. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Race 4

GIRL LIKE US finished 0.2 lengths behind MUSIC OF THE NIGHT last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. Keagan de Melo retains the ride and if not too far out of her ground, she can return to winning ways.

MUSIC OF THE NIGHT lasted long enough when winning her last start over this C&D. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

LADY LOOK ALIKE finished 2.2 lengths behind the second selection last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 5

THOMAS JENKINS returns from a 14-week break and is the first runner for Ashley Fortune as she returns to the training ranks. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody comes off a good second-place finish over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He takes a drop in class and if fit, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

SUPER VIKING followed up his maiden win with a good second-place finish over 1600m. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

FORT YUKON has produced three fair efforts since shedding his maiden tag. He should get a good run in transit and he should produce another honest performance.

Race 6

GRAPES OF WRATH should have finished closer to the winner in the Listed Somerset 1200 last time. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1500m. She jumps from pole position and back against her own sex, she should take a power of beating.

SHEZARIPPER is better than her last start in the Listed Somerset 1200. Her first two career outings were good. She tries the 1500m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should pose a threat.

BLACK NIGHTSHADE showed speed when winning on debut over 1200m. She returns from a 10-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. The daughter of Hawwaam could be anything and merits obvious consideration.

Race 7

CATWALK KING produced a strong finish when winning the Listed Somerset 1200 last time. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody would have come on from the outing. He tries the 1500m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be the one to beat.

KALAHARI KING was a beaten odds-on favourite in the Grade 3 Winter Nursery last time. The son of Vercingetorix is bred to love the rise to 1500m. He has class about him and should pose a massive threat.

AQUAE CALIDAE was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over 1200m last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He is a progressive type and merits healthy respect.

Race 8

SPECIAL GLAMOUR raced from a handy position over 1800m last time, moved up before getting caught late by Heavenly Prince. The daughter of Soqrat may be ideally suited to this distance. Apprentice Varun Jodhee takes the 4kgs off her back. She is back against her own sex and can notch up her second-career victory.

PEACHES AND CREAM stayed on when fourth over 1500m last time. She is the stable elect with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will be mowing down the frontrunners.

MISS ATTITUDE followed up her maiden victory with a good fourth-place finish over 1400m. She returns from a 10-week break which would have done her the world of good. With luck in running, she should produce an honest performance
