Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday 5th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

DE GULDEN produced a promising debut effort over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. She took time to find her feet but stayed on to finish third. The daughter of One World would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

SEI BELLA showed good improvement when sixth over this C&D last time. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. The daughter of Willow Magic may have more to come.

INDIGNATION finished 1.1 lengths behind the second selection on debut. The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have come on from the run and she should make the natural progression.

Race 2

PREDATOR’S CROWN is a filly taking on the males. She produced an encouraging debut effort over 1100m on this course. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of New Predator would have gained from the experience and should have no issues with the drop to 1000m. With the natural improvement that is expected, she can go one better.

BISON WARRIOR ran a fair race over 1200m on this course last time. He showed good speed that day and should have no issues with the drop to 1000m. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

KA CHOW was in need of his debut effort over this C&D. The son of Buffalo Bill Cody would have come on from the run and should make the natural improvement. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus.

Race 3

LOLLY WILLOWES hails from the visiting Alec Laird stable. She produced a strong finish when second over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course last time. The daughter of Willow Magic is a progressive type and if all went well with her travels, she should be the one to beat.

LILTING SONG has finished second in her last two starts, the latest of which was over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The daughter of Rafeef has cracked a good draw of two and is one of the leading contenders.

TIPPERARY has been disappointing in her last two starts. She has finished second once and third twice from as many starts over this C&D. Keagan de Melo is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

Race 4

NAVAL OFFICER was in need of his debut effort over 1200m. He finished 1.9 lengths behind GOOD OMEN that day. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of The United States would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to side with.

GOOD OMEN stayed on when third over 1200m last time. The son of Querari is consistent and merits obvious consideration.

GREEK HEIRESS has produced two decent efforts in KwaZulu-Natal. She finished second over this C&D in her penultimate run. She should get a good run in transit from pole position and has a big shout.

Race 5

ROYAL INVITATION is better than her last start in the Listed WSB Aquanaut Handicap. She won a good race in the Listed TAB Spook Express Handicap in her penultimate run. The 6yo mare has no stamina issues and if all went well with her travels, she can notch up her fifth-career victory.

SON OF RAJ’S last start is best ignored as he was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that Choisaanada has come out and won again since. He has changed stables and on best form shown, he would not be a shock winner.

FRENCH TRIP has good recent form lines to his name. He steps up to 2400m and the blinkers are removed. If seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should be competitive.

Race 6

I SALUTE YOU was caught late when second in the Listed Play ‘N Go Jet Master Stakes last time. The son of Soqrat returns from the Western Cape. He won this race last year and despite his big weight of 62kgs, he can defend his title.

JP’S PALACE has good recent form lines to his credit. He finished third in the Listed Kings Cup over 1600m on this course last time. If switching off early, he should be involved at the finish.

FIELD MARSHAL finished 1.3 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result. The son of Lancaster Bomber would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter.

Race 7

LADYOFDISTINCTION is better than her comeback run as she was reported to be not striding out. The daughter of Vercingetorix would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. On her previous form, she may be the one to beat.

ICE RAIN finished 0.4 lengths behind RAHHABBA last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She will strip much fitter and from pole position, may be hard to peg back.

RAHHABBA fought hard for her last victory over 1600m on this course. She received a six-pound penalty for that victory. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect

Race 8

ARVERNI PRINCESS is better than her last start in the Non-Black Type Bidvest Bauhinia Stakes. Her form prior to that outing was good. She has won twice and finished third once from six starts over this C&D. The daughter of Vercingetorix is likely to race on the speed and she may be hard to peg back.

JANE’S VISION dead-heated for first in her last outing over this C&D. She meets a similar field and merits healthy respect.

PROFESSOR LUPIN has good consistent form lines to his name. He stayed on when fourth over 1200m on the polytrack last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has won over this C&D previously. Keagan de Melo steps back into the saddle and he will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 9

CITY OF LOVE was doing his best work late when second over 1000m on this course last time. The manner in which he finished off his race that day suggests that he should not have any issues with the rise to 1200m. Mickaelle Michel knows him well and he may be the one to beat.

WHO BLINKED showed speed over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Maphaka. He was reported to be distressed that day. The son of Erupt is in a good space and may be hard to peg back.

GORGEOUS GUY finished 2.9 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result
