Pool 3 is currently topped by Leinster with 14 points, Harlequins are second with 11 and those 2 sides are already through to the knockout rounds. That leaves 2 more places open and the Stormers are currently third with 9 points and Stade Rochelle are fourth with 6. Leicester Tigers are fifth with 5 points, if they stay there they will contest the Challenge Cup whilst Aviron look set the wooden spoon with no log points and a minus 106 points difference.

Aside from this match the other key fixture in this pool sees Stade Rochelle host Harlequins on Sunday.

The Stormers winning streak in all competitions came to an end last week when they crashed to a 61-10 defeat away to Harlequins. They began their Champions Cup campaign away to Bayonne and they came out on top 26-17. In Round 2 they took on Stade Rochelle in Nelson Mandela Bay and reeled off a 42-21 bonus point victory.
