PalaceEnglish Premier League action continues on Saturday and our focus is on Crystal Palace v Burnley, Manchester United v Fulham and Arsenal v Newcastle

Palace evens Draw 2.45/1 Burnley 29/10

Oliver Glasner takes charge of Palace for the first time after taking over from Roy Hodgson and he inherits a side who are 15th in the standings and only 5 points clear of third bottom Luton. Palace have won 3, drawn 3 and lost 6 of their home games and the most recent victory came against another relegation threatened side, 3-2 at home to Sheffield United at the end of last month. On Monday Palace drew 1-1 away to Everton when Glasner watched from the stands.

Burnley were thumped 5-0 by Arsenal in a home fixture last weekend and they are second bottom and 7 points from safety. They have won just 3 league games all season and their last win came in London, 2-0 at Fulham just before Xmas. When the teams met at Turf Moor in early November Palace won it 2-0.

The Verdict

Burnley have had a tough run of recent games but confidence might be on the low side given the amount of goals they have shipped. This looks a good opportunity for the new Palace boss, who comes highly regarded after the job he did at Frankfurt to make a winning start but he is likely to be without a couple of key players and I'm a bit put off by that.

Gut feel is that there will still be enough positive play from Palace under new management to bring a goal or two and I'll side with Mateta to register anytime.

Man United 11/20 Draw 7/2 Fulham 43/10

After a 2-1 win at Luton last weekend, Man United are sixth on the standings, 3 points behind Spurs and 5 shy of Villa who are fourth. The win at Luton was a fourth straight victory after they got the better of Villa (2-1) and Wolves (4-3) away from home and West Ham (3-0) in a home fixture.

Fulham went down 2-1 at home to Villa last time out and are just below half way on the log, 9 points clear of the drop zone. They have won just once away from home in the league, drawing 4 and losing 7 and only Sheffield United have a worse record on their travels.

The Verdict

When United win its often by a single goal margin and that was the case in the first meeting with Fulham (1-0). The home side have got their act together in the attacking third but are still prone to conceding but Fulham's away record is really poor. I will go with United to score 2 or 3 in the multi goals market.

Bets: Home team multi goals 2-3 at 21/20 with BoyleSports

Arsenal 4/10 Draw 43/10 Newcastle 6/1

Arsenal were beaten 1-0 away to Porto in the UCL Ro16 1st leg on Wednesday and they failed to register a shot on target. That is in stark contrast to recent league form which comprises of 5 straight wins and 22 goals scored with just 2 conceded. Hidings were dished out away to West Ham (6-0) and Burnley (5-0) whilst the most recent league game at The Emirates delivered a 3-1 win over Liverpool. As far as the title race is concerned the Gunners are third, 1 point behind Man City and 5 shy of leaders Liverpool who have played 1 game more and are in EFL Cup action this weekend.

Newcastle played out a 2-2 draw at home to Bournemouth last weekend and they have won 2 and drwn 2 of their last 4 matches. Goals in been flying in from all directions with a total of 37 from their last 7 league games and they have won their last 2 road trips, 3-1 at Villa and 3-2 at Forest. They are in 8th spot, 10 points behind fifth placed Spurs and 12 behind fourth placed Villa.

The Verdict

Newcastle won the first league meeting this season 1-0 in early November. Their defence was in much better shape at the time and they still have a lengthy injury list. Again I'm taking the home team multi goals option of 2-3.

Bets: Home team multi goals 2-3 at even money with BoyleSports
