wolves1819We wrap up our FA Cup fourth round coverage at The Hawthorns on Sunday with a local derby between West Brom and Wolves

West Brom

West Brom made short work of a home tie against minnows Aldershot in the third round, racing into a 3-0 lead before taking their foot off the pedal and they eventual ran out 4-1 winners.

West Brom are currently fifth in the Championship but all of 14 points off the automatic promotion places. Home form is strong with 9 of their 13 wins arriving in front of their own supporters alongside 3 draws and 2 defeats. Reent league form comprises of 3 win and 3 defeats.

Wolves

Wolves edged their way past Brentford in the third round. They drew 1-1 away from home and the replay on home turf and came from behind twice to force extra time (2-2 90 mins) before snatching the win with an extra time penalty.

Wolves are in mid table in the EPL and they have taken 10 points from the last 12 available.

Recent Head to Head

The teams haven't met since West Brom's Premier League days in 2020/21 when West Brom won 3-2 away from home and the meeting at the Hawthorns was drawn 1-1.

The Betting

At the time of writing West Brom are trading at 26/10 to win the game with the draw also priced at 26/10 and Wolves can be backed at around even money

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 17/20 and it's 8/11 for both teams to score

The Verdict

A big game for the clubs and fans alike and given Wolves are in a comfortable position in the EPL they ought to be targeting a cup run.

Matheus Cunha scored the decisive penalty for Wolves in Round 3 and I'm siding with him to find the net any time for the visitors.

Bets: Anytime goalscorer Matheus Cunha at 2.13/1 with Playabets
