westham1718Tuesday's English Premier League action sees West Ham host Brighton and we look deep into the exotics for a bet.

West Ham

West Ham turned Arsenal over 2-0 away from home last time out, a third successive league win, all of which came with a clean sheet. Recent home games saw them beat Wolves 3-0 and Manchester United 2-0 and they have now won 6 of their last 8. That run has seen West Ham move into the top 6 for the first time this season.

Brighton

Brighton saw off Spurs 4-2 in their most recent fixture. They led that home game 4-0 at one stage before a late Spurs fightback and they are 3 points and 2 places behind West Ham on the log. Recent away form includes a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal and 1-1 draw at Palace.

Recent Head to Head

West Ham won the first league meeting this season 3-1 early in the campaign.

Last season Brighton won this fixture 2-0.

The Betting

At the time of writing West Ham are trading at 14/10 to win the game with the draw priced at 2.65/1 and Brighton can be backed at around 18/10

A game of 3 goals or more is priced at 6/10 and it's 0.53/1 for both teams to score

The Verdict:

I have slight preference for West Ham here although I will look away from the match result market for a bet.

Brighton welcomed Estupinan back from injury and he scored in the win over Spurs but Lewis Dunk is suspended here and they remain short of a number of first choice players, especially in defence.

Dunk's absence from the centre of defence forms part of my thinking in going for the quality of delivery from Ward-Prowse to provide an assist.

Bets: Player Assists, Ward-Prowse 1 or more at 2.65/1 with Betway
