Two DSTV Premiership matches take place on Tuesday when Mamelodi Sundowns host Golden Arrows and Chippa United are at home to Orlando Pirates
Sundowns 4/10 Draw 36/10 Arrows 62/10
Sundowns began their quest for a seventh successive domestic league title with a 2-1 win away to Sekhukhune in Polokwane and followed up with another 2-1 victory in a home fixture against Kaizer Chiefs. At the weekend Downs progressed in the MTN8 with a 1-0 home win over Swallows who played most of the game with 10 men. Downs and Cape Town City are the only sides to boast the maximum of 6 points from their first two league games and Sundowns are overwhelming favourites at around 1 / 4 with Betway to win another PSL title this season.
Arrows are also unbeaten after two rounds of league games. They started with a 1-1 draw at home to Swallows and followed up with a 2-1 victory away to Richards Bay. They are not involved in the MTN8 and last season's match ups with Downs saw them go down 2-1 away from home and the return finished in a 1-1 draw.
The Verdict
Downs were deserved winners against Chiefs but probably weren't anywhere near their best in two other wins. They are not in the habit of losing football matches though so this is a tough task for Arrows.
Nothing really stands out on the betting front but 2-3 goals in total is often a runner in Sundowns games and that bet has arrived in both of Downs league matches this season and the 2 head to heads with Arrows in 2022/23.

Chippa 36/10 Draw 9/4 Pirates 8/10
Chippa have drawn both their opening matches and have yet to see any goal action. A 0-0 draw at Kaizer Chiefs was a useful point and their subsequent home fixture against TS Galaxy produced another goalless stalemate.
Pirates lost their opening DSTV Premiership 1-0 at Stellenbosch but they bounced back in a home fixture with a 4-2 win over Royal AM with Lepasa Zakhele bagging a brace. In the MTN8 at the weekend the Bucs thrashed Sekhukhune 5-0 in Orlando and the in form Zakhele scored a hat trick. Pirates can be backed at around 8/1 second favourites with Betway to win the PSL title this season.
The Verdict
Pirates did lose at home to Chippa last season but they have an otherwise excellent record against this opposition and with 9 goals in their last 2 matches they ought to oblige for favourite backers here. The Bucs have put their opening weekend defeat firmly behind them and although Chippa have 2 clean sheets against their name I am with the visitors to score at least twice.
