nice call Alice by Vin!
got a nice place payout wild and free to will add a few more on card -
race 6 - also like SCARLETT ON HARA @ 20/1 ew, will prefer this trip.
race 7 - I SALUTE YOU @ 66/1, i think might pop up if fit as does like distance despite being aimed for summer cup.
race 9 - SUNSET RIOT @ 14/1 ew, hoping for return to form.

A bloodbath for punters at Turffontein. Wild and Free top run from widest draw. Big runner for the Dingaans. Cosmic Speed 2nd but Isivivane fighting with the rider early in the race cost us a nice swinger.
@Vin Naidoo nice e/w shouts in the first 2 races and good win by Alice B Toklas. @Southpaw well played with Sunset Riot flying up for the win.

Thanks Vin and JT. A nice way to end the card, thought he’d left it too late there!
and well done Chris on Zeitz. I should have stayed loyal to Zeitz. Such a genuine horse.
eye catching run by Grand Empire, must be a huge runner in up and coming grade ones, remember was July favourite at one point when a 3yr old last season.

@Chris well done with Zeitz, won well. Apologies for missing that.
Kenilworth Winter Course
Race 1 - Mosaic World (24/10) returns from a rest and brings listed form to the race when running just under 6 lenghts behind one Alice B Toklas. Richard Fourie retains the ride. Computaform comment: "Fit and well." Watch the betting on the first timers as there is a few well bred runners.
Race 2 - Running Shoes (17/10) narrowly beaten on debut. Form line franked in the week when well backed Stitchintime won.
Race 3 - Majority of the runners stepping up in trip for the first time. Sparkling Sky (4/1 top 3 places) best form has been at Kenilworth including a 3.5l third to Bourbon King over 1800m. 2nd run after a short break, did receive betting support in most recent run.
Race 4 - Midway (15/2 E/W) with a positive swing at the weights, good value in a small field.
Race 6 - Aqua Calidae (11/10) arrives with a massive reputation having easily won a Gr3 prior to a break. Red Spice (14/10 top 2 places) also back from a rest but is tried, tested and performed at the very top. Placed in Gr 1 and Gr 2 company over this trip and further from wide draws. Both career wins have been with Keegan de Melo in the irons.
Race 7 - An old favorite on the forum, Teflon Man (4/1 top 4 places) is 5kgs better off with The US Of A for a 4.25l beating in this race a year ago. He has been frustrating to follow since but can pop up on his day. Agree with Chris, The US Of A (3/1) looks a big runner on current form.
Race 8 - Cork Bay (5/1 E/W) is another who has been frustrating to follow but is racing fit and back to a more suitable trip.

Some great pics Saturday guys, well played. Got a few replays to watch for future reference as was out in the afternoon but one thing I noticed at Turffontein from the results, Race 3 the listed sprint, first 2 home Echo Check and Karate Kid were drawn 1 and 2. I would have put a line through any horse drawn so low in a big sprint field up the straight on the standside track but they proved it can be done.
Decent card Sunday, play well if you involved at Kenilworth, shame Rich Man's World scratched but still good racing

trying a speculative win double on 2 snaith runners -
reef runner
x
one magic
@ 27/1
think they look pick of yard runners today.
will also have a small ew un bel di @ 20/1 in main race, gets stronger jock on board today who won on him before.
